BALLET EXAMS ARE SO OVER!

Ballet is firmly rooted in tradition - the movements were first codified by Louis XIV in the 1600s - but that doesn't mean that the practices around ballet shouldn't move with the times. In 2024 we understand about prioritizing mental wellbeing and promoting a healthy body image, and how nurturing enjoyment is key to keeping that love of ballet burning bright.

It's time to move beyond old-fashioned tests, and recognize your dancer's achievements the more progressive way, with Arts Award.

Instead of stressing over exams, Arts Award lets your child explore their creativity and grow at their own pace. Young people can dive into their interests, learn new skills, and showcase their talents without the pressure of traditional testing. With Arts Award, learning becomes fun and exciting, focusing on discovering art and personal growth. It's like Duke of Edinburgh Awards for the arts. This fresh approach makes the whole experience more enjoyable and inspiring than ever before!

With Arts Award, the artistic journey doesn't have to about just one art form - it can grow as your child's interests broaden and evolve, and encompass all their artistic pursuits, including music tuition, creative hobbies, performing arts and even other dance forms.
